Re: Pushing and shoving with the stewards against Watford
Forgot to mention this at the time, but for the Palace game I saw a Palace fan wearing a Palace shirt in the home end.

He walked through the concourse and up the steps whilst it was still quiet but not sure what happened to him after that.

Got asked to show our tickets on the way to block 201 on Sat.

Bizarrely I was also told to access the stairway from the second of two entrances as the one I was trying to go through had been deemed an exit only doorway pre match (despite a large sign to the contrary right above the door).

Could it have happened in the later tussle? Or somewhere else entirely?

It is strange to make a story of it people are arrested all the time. Probably just came from the MPS Football Unit tweet. Interesting account, looks like its trying to "hang with the kids," like retweeting Obiang's goal of the month.

That is strange!

What's even stranger is the allegation of racial abuse. I was there and I did not hear any racial slurs, so if the Met tweeted that, they're myng

The stewards haven't got anything to do with West Ham, have they?

Re: Pushing and shoving with the stewards against Watford
I'd gone down for a beer at half time and while standing there I heard some commotion and see two lads having a shouting match with stewards. I being the dumb fuck I am went over and asked the stewards what was going on as we've had issues with them ever since we moved into the ground and he said the two blokes were acting violently.

I attempted to have a word with the blokes, said this is the sort of thing Sullivan wants and tried to calm them down to stop them receiving a ban/tug by the the Police, but they were incensed by something.

I'm not gonna pass judgement on what happened before I tried to calm them down and just think it's a shame the club might have kicked out more real West Ham

Almost certain there will now be mugshots of these three ready to flag up if they appear on the march, and for the board to then "prove" that the march is driven by a "hooligan element".

This will show how desperately rattled the board are.

I noticed this story on Sky Sports earlier:

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/11245429/three-west-ham-fans-arrested-following-home-win-over-watford-at-london-stadium

Seemed a bit odd unless they report every arrest at every premier league ground during the season?

Re: Pushing and shoving with the stewards against Watford
Rem3mber the stewards are only doing a job they have been asked to do by the stadium operators they will be checking tickets because of complaints by West Ham fans about away supporters in home areas and the harmless banter was unfortunately directed at a big stadium ego which is why they got chucked out

Re: Pushing and shoving with the stewards against Watford
Very strange atmosphere yesterday.

I was in block 114 next to the away supporters yesterday and we got asked to see our tickets by stewards on 2 separate occasions before we had even got to our seats.

They were doing the same to other supporters even at half time.

At various points during the match the stewards along with the police walked down to the first few rows of our block to have a
word with some supporters even though it just seemed like they were having harmless banter with the Watford fans.

Obviously if there was any physical or racist activity then they deserve to be thrown out but it does feel like the stewards are just stoking up the tension for little reason.
